The information below tells you about some of the 11 Plus practice papers in the subjects of English, Maths, Non-verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning which we recommend. They are published by MW Educational. MW Educational is one of the leading publishers of 11 Plus practice papers, having been established for over 20 years. Each set of papers contains four different 11+ practice tests as well as instructions for parents and the answers. Please note - there are two formats of paper - Standard Format and Multiple Choice Format. With Standard Format papers, the pupil writes down the answer him/herself on the line provided. With Multiple Choice Format papers the pupil marks an answer in an answer box of four of five possible answers (like the lottery entry form).

ENGLISH 11+ Booklets

These tests contain two English comprehensions in each paper, plus a wide variety of English questions on such topics as parts of speech, punctuation, spelling, grammar and close procedure. (40-60 questions per paper)

MATHS 11+ Booklets (STANDARD & MULTIPLE CHOICE FORMATS)

These tests contain a wide variety of Mathematical questions set in the 11 Plus exam, including questions on number, calculations, measurement, time, money, graphs, problem solving and data handling. (50-60 questions per paper).

NON-VERBAL REASONING Booklets (STANDARD & MULTIPLE CHOICE FORMATS)

These tests contain a wide variety of Non-verbal Reasoning questions set in the 11 Plus exam, including questions on silhouettes, shape, rotation, co-ordinates and number sequences. (4-5 different tests per paper).

VERBAL REASONING 11+ Booklets (STANDARD & MULTIPLE CHOICE FORMATS)

These tests contain a wide variety of Verbal Reasoning questions set in the 11 Plus exam, including questions on codes, opposites, size order, letter and number sequences. (85-100 questions per paper).

This title entitled "Sample Papers" contains one paper from each of the above four subjects. The questions in these tests are different than those above.
